          CENTENNIAL WORDS (2000)

Twin Falls, ID

Installed at two city sites, 4 blocks apart, the city park site is shown above. At both sites Snake River water, the reason the town exists, flows over the 85 historical and contemporary quotes engraved in local basalt boulders. The boulders surround life-size bronze objects relating to early farm life (plow/gloves/harness). Basalt, water, bronze. Budget: $125,000. Commissioned by the City of Twin Falls, ID.
